At CircleCare, treatment is not one-size-fits-all. We know that who you are and what you have experienced in your life makes you unique, and we take all of that into account to design a treatment plan that works for YOU.

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Medication can be an important component of treating a variety of psychiatric conditions. Such conditions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • depression

  • mood disorders

  • anxiety and panic disorders

  • ADHD

  • substance use disorders

CircleCare Behavioral Health psychiatric providers conduct a comprehensive evaluation of each patient, taking into consideration all medical conditions as well as their lifestyle and life situation. Prior to prescribing any medication, our providers will discuss the benefits of medication with the patient as well as the possible risks and side effects so that an informed decision can be made. Each patient, or their guardian, is encouraged to take part in their treatment. Ongoing communication is maintained between the patient’s therapist and medication providers.

TELEPSYCHIATRY

In addition to in-person appointments, CircleCare Behavioral Health providers Telehealth options to connect patients to psychiatric practitioners at other locations. This technology enables the patient and doctor to communicate in a direct face-to-face consultation via secure video conference. Psychiatric services that are currently provided through Telehealth include:

  • individual consultations

  • diagnostic evaluations

  • medication management and monitoring

  • adolescent, child, and adult psychiatry

PSYCHOTHERAPY

CircleCare Behavioral Health comprises providers with varying training and backgrounds, enabling us to provide culturally competent, trauma-informed, and person-centered psychotherapy to all our patients. Provider and client collaborate in planning treatment, deciding together which therapeutic modalities work best for the client, which results in an overall improvement in treatment effectiveness and advancement toward desired goals.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT

We provide substance abuse treatment that utilizes cognitive and behavioral therapies, as well as medication-assisted therapies if needed. Structure, support, and intervention are crucial to effectively treat substance abuse, and we at CircleCare are experienced in providing a framework with these elements. We are committed to your recovery and ready to help you become whole and healthy again.

There are two medications that CircleCare Behavioral Health providers are licensed to prescribe in our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT): Vivitrol and Suboxone

MAT combined with counseling and behavioral therapies can dramatically decrease the likelihood of relapse, allowing people to continue school or work while receiving treatment.  Medical treatment options like Suboxone and Vivitrol help patients maintain a normal life while reducing the side effects of withdrawal and curbing cravings that can lead to relapse.

Vivitrol

This treatment option uses a medication called Naltrexone to help block cravings and the euphoric effects of opiate drugs. The injectable form of Naltrexone, Vivitrol, is an extended-release formulation that lasts for approximately one month.  The medication can help patients during the challenging stages of recovery.

Patients in the Vivitrol MAT program are evaluated by physicians and nurse practitioners with expertise in substance use disorders who prescribe, administer (or supervise a nursing team that administers) the monthly injection, and provide the patients with support, including counseling and group therapy.

Suboxone

Suboxone, a partial opioid antagonist that was developed with the express intention of treating opioid addiction, is an additional treatment option prescribed by CircleCare Behavioral providers. Suboxone, utilized in the treatment of opiate use disorders, works by negating the effects of opiods (such as the release of endorphine).

As with Vivitrol, patients whose treatment plans include the administration of Suboxone are monitored and provided with the appropriate support.
